So you want to embark on the journey of self-discovery?

Welcome!

Finally!! I am taking hold of my compass, setting the sails on my boat called life, and anchoring the sails to go into the direction that is on charted waters.

I am so excited to share with you valuable content and knowledge that steered my life in a positive direction.

My hope is that sharing these valuable lessons of life may inspire you to live a life that’s meaningful, instead of being clueless, or boring but full of vibes and importance.

Well, I DID IT!!! I took that great leap I read about from a well-known quote:

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I saw this quote and also heard about it from several of my mentors who themselves have taken their great leap.

My net did appear, so to speak when I  stepped out and began my self-discovery process.

So, take this as an invitation to come along with me on this journey so that you as well may find yourself and discover a whole new way of thinking.

My Reason and Story

My reason for starting this blog came from my reflections on my own life and the unintentional path I began to take, right after high school.

After high school, I ended up following the words of a fellow classmate saying…

” Am going to take a year off from school and get a job.”

Well, at first, this did sound like a good idea even though I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life.

The fact that I still had a part-time job during this time allowed me to feel more excited because that meant I could make more money full-time.

I was set and convinced. I moved ahead with this idea.

FAST-FORWARD here I am singing that song by Cher. “If I could turn back time”… of course am regretting my actions and decisions.

If only I had someone speaking words of wisdom and guiding me into my life’s path at the most crucial crossroads of my life.

Eighteen and leaving high school

Who knows where I would be now?

Imagine with me

I want you to imagine for a moment.

You are in your favorite room or the preferred area of your home, sitting in your cozy chair or lying on your bed looking up at the roof; thinking.

What should I do?

Why am I here?

Why am I so clueless?

How do I get to the next level of life?

Is there such a thing as getting to the next level?

Is this how my life should be sitting around doing nothing?

If you’re saying Nah! “none of those questions relate to me!”

Well, that’s great! I genuinely am happy for you.

But for me, that wasn’t the case. I know there are more of us out there who can slowly raise a hand, saying, “ Yup! I can agree with one or two of those questions.”

Everything I have stated above was what I had thought of in a nutshell.

Reflecting on my failed attempts to start adulthood, I also asked myself, “How did I get here?

Sadly, I wasn’t aware that I had a destiny, capabilities, a purpose, and to sum it all up, I wasn’t aware of where I was going in the next 5-10 years.

There is an old saying by King Solomon, which describes my downfall “He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city without restraint.” (paraphrasing)

I called this my bankrupt stage, where I lead myself down the path of unintentional living.

Here is my point is, I don’t want that happening to YOU!

Our Journey begins here
